He was born on February 12, 1920, in Delhi, India, and passed away on July 12, 2013, in Mumbai, India. Pran was considered one of the greatest actors of Indian cinema, and his contributions to the industry earned him numerous awards and accolades.
Pran began his acting career in 1940, with a small role in the Punjabi film Yamla Jat. However, it was his performance in the 1949 film Ziddi that brought him widespread recognition. In the film, he played the role of the villain, and his performance was so convincing that he was immediately typecast as a villain in subsequent films. However, Pran did not limit himself to negative roles and proved his versatility as an actor by playing a wide range of characters, including comic roles, throughout his career.
