Once upon a time, there was a little girl named Emma. Emma lived in a small town with her mother, father, and older brother, Thomas. Emma was a happy child who loved to dance and play with her friends. She always had a smile on her face and a twinkle in her eye.
One day, Emma's world was turned upside down. Her mother was diagnosed with cancer. Emma didn't really understand what that meant, but she knew it was something serious. Her mother had to go to the hospital a lot, and when she came back, she was always tired and didn't feel well.
Emma's father and brother tried to keep things as normal as possible, but it was hard. They were all worried about her mother, and Emma could feel the tension in the air. Her father was trying to take care of everything, but he was also working long hours to pay for the medical bills.
Emma felt lost and alone. She didn't want to burden her family with her problems, so she kept everything to herself. She stopped dancing and playing with her friends. She felt like she had to be strong for her family, but inside, she was falling apart.
